Maiden of the Poppy Sterling Spoon Ring

$365.00
Sold Out

This is the first time I’ve had this pattern in the Lady Forge collection! She was never made in full sets, only individual commemorative spoons, therefore, she is incredibly difficult to find.

She is neither shy nor subtle, as she dances beneath the large poppy blossom with wild abandon.

This lovely maiden makes a fantastic statement ring that sits wide on the hand and is full of delightful texture

Age: 1895-1905 Maiden of the Poppy by Watson

Feel of the ring: larger, substantial feel.

Sizing options: 7 to 20 (photographed in size 10)

*Please let me know what size you would like in the order notes. The spoon rings are not adjustable by hand. I size to your desired size before I ship out.

Metal: Sterling

Oh, If Spoons Could Talk

I love spoon rings. And I love hunting for the most beautiful spoons to make them! Spoon rings are a little wearable piece of history allowing the story to be shared and I love that these ornate beauties get to be enjoyed and not banished to some drawer for decades.

All The rings I make are from the original antique spoons - none are copies or casts. So each ring is not only beautiful in design, but full of indications that it has lived life. Maybe a faded monogram or little wear spots - I enjoy thinking about the places they have been and who might have held them 100 years ago. Each ring is, therefore, truly unique. I have discovered more than one of some of these spoon patterns, so each ring will come with its own character and story, varying slightly on little wear spots and marks - There will not be two that are the same! I put care into the creation of each ring. I put thought into how the ring should best be shaped to frame and display the design of the spoon.

I hope the ring you choose will be a piece you treasure for generations.
